We are pleased to announce that, effective May 30, 2004, TolTest’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania business was purchased by senior managers, Peggy Carpenter and Joe Prokopik. This purchase was a logical outcome of our groups’ different strategic directions: TolTest focuses on large national and international government contracts and the Pittsburgh office focuses on regional non-governmental clients.
The new company, CP Environmental Group, Inc., (CPEG) has retained the full compliment of former TolTest Pittsburgh office employees as part of this purchase, so for our clients, we hope to make this transition seamless. CPEG will continue to provide solutions to our client’s environmental challenges throughout the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast regions. A company profile is attached to provide more details.
As part of the sales agreement, CPEG will have access to the TolTest master services agreements and contracts during the transition period. As such, we will work to make sure that there will be no disruption in services currently being performed as a result of this sale. We appreciate your business and offer you the opportunity to continue to work with the same individuals you’ve always worked with, regardless of whether you’re a TolTest customer or a CPEG customer.
Rest assured, CPEG has acquired the appropriate insurance coverage to meet our client’s requirements. Additionally, CPEG expects to obtain woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) certifications through the Pennsylvania Department of General Services and the Woman’s Business Enterprise National Council, and an 8(a) Business Development certification through the Small Business Administration by late summer 2004. These certifications will help our clients meet their disadvantaged business utilization goals, as applicable.
During this period of transition, please feel free to contact us if you have questions concerning this transaction or the current services being performed for you. We are excited about this new business opportunity and look forward to working with you under our new company banner.
