PAPER RECYCLING PROGRAM
The Borough of Churchill will be working in conjunction with Abitibi Consolidated and the C.C. Mellor Memorial Library to place a Recycle Paper Bin in the Lower Parking Lot located at the Churchill Borough Building, 2300 William Penn Highway. The following are acceptable items to be collected:
NEWSPAPER, MAGAZINES, OFFICE & SCHOOL PAPERS, SHOPPING CATALOGS, MAIL, ENVELOPES, FOLDERS, FAX PAPER, COPY PAPER & COLORED PAPER
(PLEASE, NO PLASTIC, GLASS, METALS, TRASH, PHONE BOOKS OR CARDBOARD)
ALL proceeds derived from the amount of paper tonnage collected will benefit the C.C. Mellor Memorial Library.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION
Do you have similar hazardous household products in the basement, garage and other storage areas of your home? If you or someone you know can’t use them, or if they are simply outdated or no longer needed, please do the right thing for the environment and dispose of them properly at a Southwestern Pennsylvania Household Hazardous Waste Task Force Collection Event!

The disposal fee at HHW collection events is only $2 per gallon!

Remember, Pennsylvania residents are able to cross county lines to participate in a SW PA HHW Task Force collection event- you don't need to wait for one in your county!
